Allison Davies Uppal, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate psychiatric nurse practitioner serving patients through Pacific Health Systems in National City, with telehealth availability for Oceanside. She is currently accepting new clients ages 13 and older and is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, personalized care that supports the whole person.
Allison has a special passion for helping individuals and families facing complex mental health challenges, including treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, and postpartum mental health concerns. She is known for her warm, patient-centered approach and her commitment to making each client feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported throughout their care.
Trained in TMS and Spravato, Allison understands the unique needs of patients pursuing interventional psychiatric therapies and works closely with clients to help them navigate these treatment options with confidence and compassion. She believes in caring for the whole patient—addressing emotional, behavioral, and functional wellness while building a treatment plan tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
Allison also proudly serves military members, veterans, and military families, offering medication management and therapy support with an appreciation for the unique stressors and transitions military-connected families often face. In addition to her outpatient work, she provides care in skilled nursing facilities and boarding care settings, bringing experience in supporting patients across multiple levels of care.
She is especially valued for her ability to work with difficult-to-treat conditions and for her unwavering dedication to high-quality, compassionate mental health care. Allison proudly accepts most major insurance plans, including TRICARE, TriWest, Medicare, and Medi-Cal, helping make accessible care available to the community.
