AMFT/APCC
Hi, I’m Melissa Zamora, AMFT/APCC. I work with individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions, including military-related experiences and high-stress environments. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported throughout the healing process.
I integrate trauma-informed and somatic-based approaches to help clients better understand the connection between the mind and body, while also incorporating faith-based support for those who wish to include spirituality in their healing journey. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, and I work alongside my clients as a team to help them build insight, emotional regulation, and practical coping tools.
I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology (PhD Psy) with a focus in Trauma and Disaster Relief, which continues to deepen my understanding of trauma, resilience, and recovery.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being human — a space rooted in trust, growth, honesty, and healing without judgment.
